Résumé

The Africa Think Tank Platform (ATTP) has launched its first Call for Proposals Newsletter to strengthen African think tanks and advance evidence-based policymaking across the continent. Officially inaugurated on 24 July 2025 at the African Union Headquarters in Addis Ababa, this US$50 million initiative supports collaborative consortia of think tanks to generate actionable research, shape regional and national policies, and provide solutions to cross-border development challenges. Aligned with the African Unions Agenda 2063, the ATTP fosters knowledge-driven decision-making, institutional capacity strengthening, and regional integration. The newsletter will provide stakeholders with updates on the Call for Proposals, application guidance, media highlights, and information on webinars and events. By engaging with the ATTP, African institutions contribute to a continental knowledge movement that ensures African-led solutions for sustainable growth and development.
