Abstract

Not much is known about the determinants of cigarette smoking and its intensity among male Adults in Rwanda. This study investigates the determinants of cigarette smoking and its intensity among male adults in Rwanda by using a mixture of both quantitative and qualitative methods to fill this gap in the literature and inform the policymaking process. This empirical evidence also provides insight into the determinants of smoking, and thereby informs public policy in controlling smoking among male adults.
