Dr. Sahar Aboud is a prominent Egyptian economist who serves as the Principal Economist at the Egyptian Center for Economic Studies (ECES). Alongside her institutional leadership at ECES, she is an Associate Professor at Egypt's Institute of National Planning and an affiliated researcher with the Economic Research Forum (ERF). Dr. Aboud's career is defined by her rigorous empirical research aimed at resolving structural microeconomic and macroeconomic challenges within Egypt and the broader Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.
